Throwing Coins

Mid-May also found me decorating and arranging our cute new apartment, finishing just in time for my parent's two and a half week visit.  The guestroom is super tiny.  The bed fills the room so you have to climb on from the end.  Dad and Mom were good sports and didn't complain.  They got the true "European experience" and I tried to make the room as pretty and cozy as possible.

My 12 year old brother, Kyle, came too and he got to sleep on the couch.

The balcony is where we spend most of our time.  It's a quiet neighborhood street, yet there is always life and energy bustling below.  Kids on bikes, musicians practicing in open window apartments, old men laughing at the pub down the street.  Occasionally street musicians will serenade us and we throw coins off the balcony to them in return.
